The NCAFP Foundation has multiple programs for first-year medical students that call for experienced physician teachers who are passionate about their work and are willing to take the time to teach and mentor. Students that participate in these programs are genuinely interested in FM and have a desire to learn more as they prepare for their remaining years in medical school. Programs for you to work with students vary in length from 1-week, to 4-weeks, to a 3-year continuity program. Our regular externship programs that are shorter in duration are just as important in providing a positive, realistic view of FM as are the long-term programs. We need your help!
If you are interested in partnering with the NCAFP Foundation to work with students in these programs, please contact Tracie Hazelett at the NCAFP offices: thazelett@ncafp.com or 919-833-2110 no later than February 17, 2012.
